Bi-Level Metal Frame Canvas Roof
For this project in Hallandale, we have incorporated two major designs: the bi-level metal frame and the mid-level retractable roof system. The bi-level metal frame is situated on the third floor with a canvas roof, covering a patio concession that overlooks the water. We coated the frame to protect against corrosion while the fabric reflects about 15% of the sun's heat. This unit allows customers to sit under the shade or sit by the pool and overlook the water. The bi-level metal frame creates an ambience of luxury, comfort, modernity, and protection. The style draws the customer in, while providing panoramic views of the water and relief from the sun.
The mid-level retractable roof system runs on three tracks. It uses a fabric that can support the weight of an average adult, when the fabric is fully extended. The fabric is also very durable, withstanding regions of high heat to below freezing temperatures.
The core foundations of this roof style stem from Arena roofing systems. The roof can also be controlled with the touch of a button. This unit protects the patio dining area from the sun without obstructing any views. These product attributes make this system a great addition to a tropical waterfront paradise.
Both structures have similar designs. The upper level design has a fixed frame with fabric, and the middle level design has a retractable roof system. Both use a square beam frame design with ribs between the fabrics. Our two incorporated systems for this location will help provide relief from the elements without encroaching on its customers, taking up floor space or obstructing the waterfront views. These units also lower the chance of vacancy during peak hours of patronage and create an in-demand location for years to come.
